Kalvik Community Guard Initiative (KCGI)

KCGI is a community intiative where family & friends in our neighbourhood are working together to protect our homes, leisure properties & valuable objects.
By joining togheter, we agree on some standards in CCTV- and smart home security systems, making it possible to share live video strems, as well as getting rapid notifications when a smoke detector or security alarm is triggered in our neighbourhood.
 
Furthermore, we work together on plans in case of fire, accidents as well as theft/intrusion - and perform regulary training to ensure that we act fast and accordingly. This makes us confident that our call-out time is excellent, and something commercial security companies simply can not match, due to long travel distances and high cost when comparing the like-for-like "services" the community does for each other in day-to-day life.
